Dayle Schmidt
I first became interested in handbells while
attending First Presbyterian Church in Redding, CA. My wife and I sang in
the choir. A bell choir was started in the early 1990's. She and I
decided to join the bell choir. I enjoy ringing and playing for retirement
home residents. My most memorable ringing experience was going to Germany
and helping to start a bell choir in Wittenberg. After high school I
served in the U.S. Marine Corp for five years. I then became a California
Highway Patrolman for 30 years. I enjoy woodworking, dancing, and
performing karaoke.
